Ryzen 5950X can literally handling Adobe Premiere Pro video Processing in the background, and still giving same amount of FPS in Cyberpunk 2077.

Pleased to see AMD doing very well, competition benefits everyone *mostly*. Thanks to AMD I've managed to purchase a 10900KF, for less than a 5800X.

Note: these are both overclocked to 4.9ghz.

To really stress CPU in flight simulator, do an AI controlled flight from La Guardia to JFK in New York City. Heavily CPU bound area. Just control for the weather.

i'm here chilling with my i5 10400 and it's enough

You need to play Battlefield's Multiplayer to test the cpu's actual potential especially maps like operation underground

As much as I love what amd has been doing, I cant say the price difference is worth it. They are so similar in frames.. Speaking from a pure gaming perspective id just go with the i9 and save 350-400$ for my gpu, psu or mobo

Can't wait to have one of these for my GTX 280

Look at the CPU percentage. Ryzen 9 is using half the percentage of Core i9. Literally half or less than half, while putting out better FPS

Just got a 6900xt and 11900k to upgrade from a 10700k and 2080ti, my brother's rig is upgrading from a 2700x and 5700xt to my old 10700k and 2080ti .

0:49 Gotta love how the Ryzen 9 is doing it at %30 but the i9 is like %70-%80

So they're both running at 4.9 so the 11900k at say 5.1 or 5.2 all core would add atleast 15 fps for a all around win .

Honestly people are just paying $300 more for an extra 2-5 FPS based on the games shown🤷

For gaming I prefer to buy the i7 11700k because is the same chip as i9 11900k but with 300mhz lower clock speeds. In my country this i7 costs 430 euro and the r7 5800x costs around 500 euro

Interesting versus between the TOP of both manufacturers.

However, I think it makes no sense to use a 5950x for gaming comparison. This is an Intel 8c / 16t vs an AMD 16c / 32t.
Now ok that this comparison seems to show the Top of Intel's proposal vs the Top AMD, but the real comparison should be done with a 5800x as the strong point of Zen3 lies precisely in the fact that the cores inside the same CCX have increased to break down latencies and this made it possible to put a single CCX compared to the ryzen of previous generations. The 5800x has only 1 CCX (unlike 5900x [2CCX = 6 + 6] and 5950x [2CCX = 8 + 8] and 3700x / 3800x / xt [2CCX = 4 + 4]) which could introduce latencies.

A versus 11900k vs 5800x would be interesting

A prime example of switching between CCX's causing latency-related stutters (1% low, 0.1% lows) is Cyberpunk versus MSFS. The chips are pretty much identically performing when you're not hopping between CCX's.

The Ryzen 9 was at almost half ultilisation compared to the I9 most of the time. In some games it was at 30-35% and the I9 was at 60-70%. And with that, and the 7nm, less power draw aswell.

Cyberpunk benchmarks should be in BGS (Bugs Per Second)
