This video we rebuild a M47-S Chrysler Crown. This engine was a donor engine for a 1955 Shepherd wood boat. It's 135HP with the twin carburetor setup and is equipped with a V-drive Chrysler transmission. This engine has sodium filled exhaust valves that are 7/16 in diameter. We bored the cylinders, machined the crankshaft, decked the cylinder head, and painted the engine. This is a 265 CID Chrylser flathead 6.

Beautiful job on this engine. Sounds awesome. I could listen to the song of an inline 6 all day long. How are the valves adjusted? Does it have adjustable tappets that are accessed through the side covers? What are the clearances and are they adjusted cold or hot? Thanks.
