Exploring this strange staircase in Abu Rawash, which is a forbidden area and restricted to military personnel only. There is almost nothing known about this and it was hidden for a long time underneath sand. Thankfully I was given quick access!

Dakota i think it would be absolutely life changing if you could find some way to film and gain access to some of the underground tunnels in Egypt. Nobody has ever filmed any of them outside of the normal big sites in giza. They say that there are tunnels that run under the pyramids in every direction and it like a monster labyrinth! Im a bog fan either people envy you for being able to just travel the world and see( haha and smoke) everything! I know i sure envy you....keep on letting us live thru you!

I saw a documentary were Sahara nomads dug depp holes in the middle of the desert and got water. I think you are right with the stairs, that they are to get water and messure the water level. And I think the other holes were wells. It does not exclude that the Pharao is burried in that area too.

They look like different craftsmanship from the pyramids. Probably used for temporary structures like tents. And then they moved the tents or temp houses
