EXCLUSIVE: First Hennessey Venom GT Spyder in the UK

The new Guiness World Record holding car has arrived in the UK where it is undergoing a conversion from the Ford GT's manual box that's fitted to the Venom to a paddle-shift system before heading out to its owner in the Middle-East. The Venom GT has a mindboggling 1244hp and carries just a weight of 1244kg, hitting that illustrious 1hp per kg!

It would have been fantastic to hear the thing or see it moving, but when it's a car this rare - probably the first public outing of a customer car in the UK, there's no choice but to head along! Previously we saw a yellow car on display belonging to the manufacturer, chassis number 4.

Love the color paint on this. I saw the debut at Monterey Car week last summer and loaded a video on my channel. Hennessey himself started the car, revved it. Sounds amazing.

That's the 750hp version, not the record breaking 1244hp one! And extra 494hp apparently makes quite a big difference.
