Love your videos... I've been gardening for 45 years, yet I still learn a thing or two on your channel. When my healthy sage plants get woody I move them and use them for landscaping in rock gardens. I propagate by cuttings. I use sage in lots of things. My mother, long ago, used it in meatloaf. Delicious.

I have had no luck with sage and gave up but your video has made me want to try again. I love crispy sauteed sage leaves. So yummy.

I love sage. I put it in every meal or as a tea in the winter season. It also looks great in the garden. And it is easy to grow. Thanks for the video. 🦋🪴🌱

Great video. I love sage. You can also fry the leaves. That goes great with roasted chicken.

I took your advice and planted one of mine in my garden, and it's doing great so far. We haven't hit our rainy season yet, but my sandy soil is very well draining, so I'm hopeful.

This is the first year I’ve successfully grown sage. I forgot about the sage flowers, so I hope mine will put out blooms. I like sage in scrambled eggs, chicken salads and soups.
Thanks for the great information - I’d better check to make sure about the drainage!

I adore my sage plant (Tucson), it is on its second year now and so healthy. I recently used sage in a meatloaf and it was lovely.

We love growing sage for so many reasons in NC zone 8a. It’s fast to bloom and the pollinators love them!! And the deer hate them!! We let them pop up all over the place because they are so pretty!! We chop them half their height after they bloom and it grows right back!!

Pineapple Sage is one of my favorites. Great for tea or throw a few torn leaves in a salad for a burst of unexpected flavor. Harder to keep alive though. Pairs nicely in tea with pineapple mint (also difficult to keep alive, and good to put a few leaves in a salad) & lemon balm.

I love sage, it was one of the very first plants I had any luck with growing from seed. That very same plant is still going strong in a container! Besides its uses in cooking, fresh sage also makes a very soothing tea with some honey.

I do not like the taste of sage but because of the beauty of the plant I have one growing in my garden. It is 4 years old but has never flowered, Is there a way to get it to flower?

My sage plant didn't come back this year. I use it in dressing and chicken and pork dishes.

I started Sage as seeds in a hydro garden. Two seeds popped up right quick, so when about 2in tall I transplanted into a 6in pot. I live in Pahrump NV and we are already getting hot hot hot! But my little Sage isn't looking so happy. I don't like that I had to transplant it whilst still in the sponge grow pod, but no way could I free Sage w/o hurting it or killing it, so I left it. Is the sponge pod constricting roots freedom? I use a water meter reader to water, and I water when its on the low end but perhaps the sponge is keeping it a bit extra moist and I can't tell? I want to grow lots more but really don't want to in the hydro given this experience. Any advice? Thanks so much - love all your helpful videos - have a lovely day out there in Mesa! 🌿🌿🥰

My sage got overran by my oregano and thyme. I gave them a hard prune and the sage is coming back. Same as my ornamental sage. The nasturtiums grew all over it during our rainy winter. But the sage came back with a vengeance.
