Depressed killer whale beaches itself

Morgan, a killer whale at the Loro Parque zoo in Spain, beached herself and was left out of water for over 10 minutes. This isn't the first time Morgan has exhibited distressed behavior while being held in captivity.

I had heard about the head bashing a few weeks ago, knowing this is the same, poor whale is heartbreaking. Animals of all kinds have emotions just like humans, seeing them this depressed is the most saddening thing. I hope this poor girl gets saved, but I know she more than likely will not be😔

i believe this is the same killer whale from spain who has a video flying around literally banging her head against one of your metal fences? dude this whale needs help i know most captive animals from these places can’t actually go to the wild cause they don’t know how to hunt and would die but this is just depressing and no one should own whales or sharks in any situation. the only reason you should capture one is if it needs a check up or something and then released maybe.

Return Morgan now. Morgan was taken from the wild under the pretense she was injured, and that she would be returned in 2010. However SeaWorld lied! Return her now SeaWorld I have also seen the videos of this innocent young whale whom must miss her pod banging her head against the metal gates that is not healthy behavior despite SeaWorlds ridiculous spin on it. SeaWorld's brand continues to fray, no one go please until all they no longer do whale and dolphin shows and release all whales/dolphins to sea sanctuary pens and Morgan and Lolita back with their pods. The other whales likely would not survive in the ocean but would thrive in the sea pens experts say.

Anyone involved in the capture and imprisonment of these amazing creatures should be dropped into the middle of the Atlantic ocean with a life jacket made of lead. There's no excuse for this at all

I don't understand how the trainers who see these poor animals everyday can just keep doing their job.
Usually people become animal trainers because they love animals. How can they ignore how much the whales are suffering in captivity?
