This helps to see the full picture, but what is the front piece of plastic called that the splash shield connects to? That piece was broken off and it seems pointless to replace without replacing this piece as well.

Hi my splash guard came off a while ago and I had no choice but to take it all off cuz it had torn apart while i was on the high way then a week later I hit a pot hole damaging the guard that goes right under Neath where the air comes in from the grill could you please tell me if this is fine to leave alone or not I really don't know what to do

How much do you think it is to fix this...my 2013 Jetta base splash guard is taped up cuz I didn't want to risk damaging my car even more but when I bring her into the shop I want an idea of what I should be paying so I don't get over charged cuz it seems like something that can be done super fast
