It's also kind of funny that by the time you're done brushing out a golden retriever, you have enough fur to create another golden retriever.

Can I give you a bit of a hint when using a vacuum cleaner? Move slower! The faster you go, the less you will pick up! (Based on working for a cleaning service!!)

I have a similar product. The key to using it is use the bristle end to pull up the fur from the carpet, & the squeegee end to pull it into a pile. It works great for my Border Collie's hair

1:45 looks at the love in her eyes, as she gets brushed.

I feel like the pet brush is damaging the carpet more though... it just sounds like it's tearing the fibers.

They should scale-up the roller and sell that instead. Seems like a no-brainer to me.🤷

Not just for fur! Really good for people with long hair and long beards. My vacuum cleaner doesn't do a thing, but this sort of rubber broom gets my carpets as clean as new! Particularly effective for "trodden-in" hair. Use short strokes, pulling the broom towards yourself. A+. 10 out of 10. At only $10, definitely worth a try.

We bought a couple of these brooms complete with the squeegee, years ago at a home show. Back then, they were being sold for use as a regular broom, and work well as such.

I went to ace hardware and got a good old fashioned scrub brush and a broom handle. Works great. I have a long haired cat and I use the brush before I vacuum. Makes things so much easier. I never realized how much fur was still in the carpet. The brush is good for spot cleaning too.

Ha! I just realized you and I have the same sunglasses! Aside from that I have cats, and 40 year old battered carpets. My powerful vacuum does well, but I don't like hauling it up and down stairs. I found that a good stick vac to get the loose stuff, and an old fashioned rug rake with metal teeth for the fur and fluff that gets worked deeply into the pile does a great job.

I personal love these rubber brooms. I find they work best on hard floor to not kick up all the fur or dust while sweeping. I also use mine to bunch up and remove all the annoying clumps of cat fur that stick to my couch, much easier than picking them off with your fingers. It does require some elbow grease for carpet surfaces thought. Really I find it's main benefit is it DOES NOT kick up pet hair or dust while sweeping hard surfaces. Great for people in apartments with pets.

Have you reviewed the "infinitiroller" paint roller? I've been seeing it on my instafeed and was wondering if it's actually as good as it looks. I have a lot of painting to do (whole house) and this would make it easier with pets around.

I have the FlyLady’s purple version of this and it has been a game changer. I don’t know if the brooms are made of slightly different materials or what, but I love mine. It saves my vacuum from pet hair.

I have a Bernese Mountain Dog mix and he sheds hair like crazy. He also has fur in black, white, and brown so it shows on everything. I brush carpets and hard floor surfaces with my broom and it’s great. Worst part is removing hair from broom to throw away. It also picks up dog food from around my dog’s bowl.

I do have to use a hand held version to get the fur that collects between the carpet and the base boards. The hand version comes to a narrow point that fits better in the grove. Vacuums aren’t effective in that carpet grove. The hand held version is also the best tool I have for getting fur off of furniture and car seats.

You can also use these brooms for spot cleaning carpets. When you have to scrub your carpet to clean up a pet mess or a liquid spill, it’s better to scrub with this broom than to get down on your knees.

We bought a broom just like that many years ago and we still have it but it was never advertised for pet hair back then. In fact, it was for cleaning hard floors. Maybe that's why you liked it best on your tiles. I bet someone wanted to re-market that style of broom after trying it with pet hair and thought that it worked somewhat.

Furwell broom is a standard flat surface cleaner, rebranded with "fur" on it, in the uk i picked one up for £2

I'm curious if long vs. short hair pets makes a difference when it comes to using it on carpet, or even if long vs. short carpet itself. For instance I have extremely short fiber carpet in my room, but the living room has more of a plush-style long and comfy fiber carpet. Great review as always, thanks again and stay safe!
