Fruisciante called this outro the best solo... being disconnected yet perfect

I remember watching Yes in the Boston Garden in 1979. They opened with this song on the round stage. I was just 10 rows away, I was mesmerized.

Not an easy task to play the whole song. Nicely done!

Impressive. People don't realize the skill & complexity of The phenomenal Steve Howe. Enjoyed your playing.

Nice job. This is a perfect demonstration of why Bill Bruford called Yes compositions "head arrangements." What made the band so great is how they made playing a song like this sound so effortless.

Why did YouTube wait nearly 7 years to recommend this to me? Truly a superlative rendition! But now imagine singing the harmonies at the same time...even Howe has said he has a great deal of difficulty doing so.

Great job it's good to see the younger generation digging Yes

Agree, Steve is the best. The way he fuses jazz and rock and effortlessly meanders around the fret board with jazz cords between time signatures (as if he's pondering what to play next or just improvising) is truly amazing. Even infusing rockabilly. For all his talent, he never lets you forget that his music has humble beginnings and it's a shame he's under appreciated. Masterful composer. Siberian Khatru is grounded in rock while at the same time, the lap steel transports you into a different world. You captured the song as it spoke to me after all these years. You have a great talent - thank you!

It is a pity that you will never be appreciated enough since even the Steve Howe himself could not get the appreciation he deserved.. for me he is the best guitarist ever. His ability of playing and composing is way beyond every guitar players and even guitarists you can name of. Well played July!

Awesome! Steve Howe would be proud! If Steve goes on vacation you could step in.

Isolation of instruments shows how each member of Yes served the song, and Siberian Khatru is easily the best example, since it's one of the most logically assembled of all YesSongs.
There was no lead guitar break, but Steve was playing lead throughout! It can be argued that the lead instrument is the bass! But again, Chris served the song by playing what it required.

Truly awesome, I could never imagine playing that, Steve Howe is too hard for me to try, love the slide guitar, nearly got the Steve Howe head movement right too.

That opening riff is jaw dropping, heart stopping, awesome. Pops up pleasantly in my head from time to time. Been that way for years now. Thank you.
