Here, the fear is a crawling sense of immediate danger...
An entryway leading to an open road of majestic unknowns, shadows lurking behind streetlights and monsters lurking behind shadows.
Walking into the madness, with purpose.
An escape into a comfort of eldritch machinations,
the dissonant warmth of a tune familiar,
as compared to the soul crushing dread,
the mind flaying agony,
the ruinous and abominable knife-in-the-gut that is the year 2020.
