Given 2 sides of a triangle determine the possible lengths of the 3rd side

Learn how to use the 2 given sides of a triangle to determine the range of the third side.

Simply add the given sides together to calculate one of the boundaries. Next subtract the given sides from each other to calculate the other boundary.

We then use @geogebra to model and verify our results.

Those calculated boundaries are not inclusive.
