Toyota Sequoia Window Trim Replacement (1st Gen)

The weatherstripping on my 2006 Toyota Sequoia was in major need of removal and replacement, so I created to kit to solve that issue. Window trim is one of the most common parts in need of repair, but factory OEM replacements can be very expensive. The trim set is fit for Toyota Sequoia Models from 2001 - 2007.

The window trim itself is a rubber material on top of a metal backing. The trim also features a high quality window seal to keep your door panel protected.

Three bolts on the inside hold the mirror. Easy too loosen and trim goes in easier

The kit arrived today. It took me maybe 30 minutes to install, including the removal of the old trim and cleaning. Super easy and looks factory-new on my 2006 Tundra Double Cab. Many thanks!

Your video inspired me to swap out my trim. Thanks. I did pop the cover and loosened the 10mm nuts to drop the mirrors for easier installation. And great tip on removing the old clips. Worked like you explained. 👍

Love your content!! Do you have any solutions for the faded pillars? These are notorious problems on the sequoia and it seems the only option to repaint with black trim paint?

I bought the original one I spent like $500 .I would roll the window down and lose the mirror a bit without removing them

Hi, I installed the new trim pieces on my '06 Sequoia today. All went well until the final rear piece. I had to adjust it as it set back too far & when trying to move it forward a few cm's, it warped the front end a bit so it sticks out a tad now. Question: Am I able to pop it back out & bend the piece back into shape or will the brackets break? Thank you!
