Had enjoyed fishing in the past before I went vegan however looking back now it wasn’t enjoyable on a good number of occasions in fact it was the opposite making me upset and sad. I never intended to hurt or eat the fish I just wanted to see them.
Either the fish would swallow the hook completely and I wouldn’t be able to remove it so would unfortunately just cut the line and release with the hook still stuck in the fish leaving them to slowly suffer and probably die or would accidentally injure the fish trying to remove and they would bleed all over and die, it wasn’t pleasant at all.
Now in replacement of fishing I have an underwater camera and I enjoy just watching them in their own habitat living their life and it’s wonderful. Also magnet fishing can be fun as an alternative.
