I'm a firm believer that we don't always have to "fall in love" but rather "grow in love." Just because you're not attracted to someone the minute you meet them, it doesn't mean an attraction can't grow. Doug is such a sweet guy and I'm glad she eventually opened up and let the process work for them. They were matched for a reason and I'm happy they nurtured that and now they are madly in love with a baby girl and another on the way. I'm sure Jamie finds him very attractive now because she knows what a great guy he is on the inside too. Yes, physical attraction is important, but that can come LATER after you get to know someone for who they really are. I love them!

Let's be honest, I don't think she's unattracted to him per se, I think it's probably that the boils on his face scare her, but you can't say that because then you sound mean and shallow. Overtime she'll get more comfortable with them.

I would just like to point out that she is NOT shallow for wanting to be attracted to the man that she's going to be with for the rest of her life! I personally want to be able to look at my man and be turned on. Of course it's not all about the looks, but looks definitely play a role! Your brain analyzes attraction whether you know it or not. You're attracted to your friends in some way and you're attracted to your mate. I think my boyfriend is hot, and his feelings are reciprocated, it's important to see each other that way if you ever want to marry.

Ohhhh okay so there can be a reality TV show where 2 people have never met. never even seen eachother, and will probably divorce within a month can get married, but if a gay couple who has loved eachother for years and years gets married, it will ruin the sanctity of marriage. Got it.
