i saw your video of Montréal Canada. If you ever go back you must go to Eastern Ontario, a region called Prescott & Russell. There are a bunch of small towns with food that will blow your mind. Its the French part of Ontario. Start with St-Albert where both the famous Cheese Curds and Poutine were invented. Thats right, its not from Montréal! There is a Cheese factory that's a museum, a restaurant and its where the annual Curd Festival happens. (Canadian curd)
Then go to Plantagenets and try out the Tourtière made locally, its a Canadian pie of meat that you eat wity ketchup, either use heinz or homemade ketchup. Then you can stop to Afred for its famous fries. (might have been where the fries for the first poutine came from)
Lastly and the best is Clarence-Rockland at the Café des Laurriers, its a Shawarmas place but they have donair which is Canadian and theirs is made fresh on the spot and its probably the best one in Ontario.
Clarence-Rockland is also where former Prime Minister S. Harper discovered poutine. It just happened to be the first Canadian original food he found and thats how poutine because the national food. Had he not eaten it there, not only would poutine not be the national food, but it also would stayed an underground food that you only find in Eastern Ontario and a few rare restaurant in Montréal.
While you are in Clarence-Rockland you should visit yhe multiple beautiful churches, 2 of the biggest churches of Canada are there, one in Rockland and one in Clarence-Creek. There are also a few golf courses and a wholde lots of other restaurants. Anyway, that area is huge and has plenty of French Canadian culture that people should get the chance to learn about, its not just in Québec. Au and if you like wines, there is a place in Clarence-Rockland that makes you taste hundreds of wines for 75 cad that way you get to learn what you really like without having to buy a bunch of random wines. Its a hell of a hidden gej tucked away in Eastern Ontario.
