I have a Bichon and she has been the best dog anyone could ever ask for. When he said the Bichon will shed a little bit, I have to beg to differ, my girl has never shed. She has never been to the groomer either, I have groomed her since about 8 weeks old. She is now almost 15. Also I started brushing her teeth around 8 weeks and to this day her teeth are awesome and she has never had a dental cleaning! Her Dr can’t believe it!! Pure Love is what she is!!

I was blessed to have both a Maltese and Bichon Frise in my home. Loved them both with all my heart. Lost my Bichon July 29, 2023 and he lived a long life 16.6 years. We have a Malshi now and he reminds me of both my previous babies. The love of a dog is so very special❤

Since I had a Bichon for 15 long years until recently, I’d have to go with Bichons! I’ve always liked poodles too cuz we grew up with poodle mixes & am looking at getting a poodle mix. The Maltipoo, Cavapoo, & Poochons are high on my list!

It’s hard to find purebred Bichons now. They are so many designer mix breeds. I have a Bichon, Maltese and ShihTzu mix for the first time after having Bichons for over 30 years. He’s adorable and pure white. His litter mates have ShihTzu markings. He’s only 4 months old now and already 10ths. We will see how big he gets.

I have a Maltese now, but she’s 12lbs, so I’m sure she’s mixed with someone. I had a maltichon, Louie, and he was the apple of my eye- so sweet, so perfect, so well behaved. My now, “Maltese” is a a sweetie too, but the maltichon breed is just so WONDERFUL. I would like to have a tiny Maltese one day, but I have a 6yo, so that will probably not happen until she’s in college. My Chloe has sooo many skin allergy issues. It’s a huge challenge! I’ve tired all the things. Louie had some issues too, but I switched him to grain & poultry free diet and it fixed it almost immediately. Chloe, we haven’t had as much luck.
