I’ve had the plus for 8 months.. sometimes the sun or the equipment being in line with your radar will interfere with it picking up your ball. But for me it was rare cuz I use an iPad and put it behind the device so it doesn’t interfere with the radar. All in all best investment I ever made and have dropped my handicap by nearly 8 strokes down to a 4.4 HI. You Really need to read the instructions before you use and attend one of the video workshops.. you’ll love it!!!

I got one last month and absolutely love it, built a simulator in my garage and delighted with how the mevo+ is performing. Your issues will be the range ball setting, and the roll setting on your radar, you need to get it as close to 0.0 as possible. Fantastic product, just wish I had this and my simulator earlier, as living in Ireland it's been a fairly restrictive year on the playing front.

It does take a little practice to get set up quickly but easy after a few goes it gets easy

another reason you may have had missed reads is having stuff in front of the radar. I've read that metal can affect the readings.

I’ve had one since Christmas and the numbers seem to be good. It disconnects a lot though. Also, putting and chipping is hard to do

My experience with the range ball setting is that the radar measurements are the same (as they should be of course) but the ball flight model is different. For me at the ranges I use the standard ball setting gives accurate carry distances.

The standard ball flight model is probably setup the same way as the Flightscope Trajectory Optimizer since I get similar carry distances from the FTO when I input my Mevo+ measurements.

It would be nice to know what the multiplier with the range ball setting is. I have asked this from FS but got no reply. Of course you can just calculate it by comparing to the standard ball setting results of similar shots (or the FTO) but maybe there is more to it than just a simple multiplier.

Love my Mevo but couldn’t justify another $1, 500 as the Mevo does enough as I’m not a pro. The Mevo helped me really set up my irons and distance gaps for the entire bag. Got my wedges dialed in as well. Mevo + does have some cool features though.

Watch the tilt when setting up (try to get to near 0) and 18d is a good number for angle from FS support. You probably figured it out but you can use the top right icon to go into table or data view as well to see all your data vs shot shape. I have been using my + since last summer mostly outdoors. Occasional empty reads as I heard in this video but overall been good. Issues I see (and some others) are reads for longer shots are not as good. Firmware updates seem to make improvements so hoping at some point the > 200y shots become more accurate. For me they read low. For comparison at same range, same good balls my pro has a Trackman (and I can see my flying a ball over a 200y sign and mevo telling me it wen 187 :) Enjoy the new data points.

Range ball mode is for the limited flight balls, it does juice your numbers like crazy. It will show that i carry is 330. I also like the app but it does miss more shots then say awesome golf does. You should test it out with the awesome golf app. Then test it out with say the e6 range. I plan on doing in once the range opens up, just been hitting into a net on short indoor atm trying to get to that consistent 180 ball speed with driver

I have the mevo and it has some of the same issues - catches some and not others. Data is very useful. For £1500 more for the mevo plus not sure how much better it is? Know it has a few extra data points. Presume does not give you the impact point or spin loft or dynamic loft? Nice it had ball and weather adjustment.
