👉 Learn how to simplify expressions using the power rule of exponents. When several terms of an expression is raised to an exponent outside the parenthesis, the exponent is distributed over the individual terms in the expression and the exponent outside the parenthesis is multiplied to each of the exponents of the individual terms of the expression.

I've been using some of your videos in a "flipped" college class. This term I have a deaf student in the class who requires closed captions. The auto-generated captions produced in 2013 were not great (actually, this video is better than many) and I'm required by law in my state to contact you and ask you to improve them for accessibility reasons. If you can't, I'm required to ask you to allow me to do so. Otherwise I can't use them. I don't know how to communicate about this except in this way since YouTube has removed the option to comment privately... I hope you get this and can just reply to my comment...

Nice 🦾 got it, there’s a one in front of the m so 1m+1m=2m
And 1mx1m=1m^2 which is the same as 1m^1x1m^1 = 1m^2
Or 3m^2x3m^2=9m^4
Thank you! Helping me through precal
