New Year, new bug out bag from Maxpedition. This pack is designed for the urban environment, however, hidden inside is a wide array of tactical functionality and tons of space.

The expansive Entity 35L provided more than enough capacity for my cold weather gear including thermals, sleeping pad, and poncho liner.

Fully loaded the pack is only 25lbs which includes camera gear, not a bad weight for a winter bug out bag.

Inside the pack is a generous amount of webbing and pockets designed for tactical pens, multitools, bic lighters, edc flashlights, cooksets and more.

When I was 15 in the late 80’s we called this camping, how did it become “bugging out”, come on you tubers come up with a less dorky name for camping out, also I have done hundreds and hundreds of camp outs and have never understood replacing a simple tent for a poncho, ground cloth, bivy sack, and everything else that is so much more work to put together, this is one of the better channels BTY.

Definitely a gray man bag...looks very plain and non-descript except for the size. Went home and took a shower? Survivalists don't bathe!
Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work!

Have you ever thought about just getting the woodland goretex bivy from the MSS modular sleep system? I have the whole 4 pc system and that bivy is great, it would also help protect the Static V Recon. I'm also planning on getting military surplus goretex parka and pants. Best rain gear out there that I've found.

*Loving your Hi-end Homeless gear & kits !!* 😎👍
good looking bag, outstanding materials & zippers...
I love my Maxpedition Vulcan 2 khaki 35 liter bag...I don't mind the tacticool look it has...and the options of attaching other kits to it.... i can easy attach an exterior rain cover on my maxpedition bag, and it looks grey man in an urban environment.

Nice bag, Maxpedition is real quality gear. Only drawback from my perspective is lack of compression straps and attachment points at bottom.

I love the camping videos. I’m good on packs but I saw one of the smaller ones yesterday at guns n leather and it looked cool.

They're heavy, but a regular 3 wick candle lasts about 16 to 20 hours I usually buy the scented but you can get non scented for about 20$

Ground sheets save sleep systems. Also, I own and love the Mil-tec ponchos but seam seal the area where the sash grommets are! For some reason they always miss those.

You can save a ton of space using a compression bag for your clothes and sleeping bag (don't store it in them for a long time, because it´ll loose the insulation property). I think an ironcloud/ironstorm style bag would be better for this purpose in the entity line. You don't need a sleeping pad in your get-home bag, you definitely want it in your bug-out bag
