Stateless doesn't mean client is not expecting the response back. After TCP handshake, the HTTP connection remains active unless it timeout or client receives a response from server. After that connection is closed a new TCP handshake is needed to start it all over for subsequent requests( unless Connection Keepalive optimization is used, which reuses same TCP connection for some time and subsequent HTTP resquests can use it). So Server doesn't know anything about prior requests by this client, and hence its stateless.

Hi, I have doubt on this what you told that when you said about http works on under TCP and UDP protocol the TCP Protocol is an connection oriented and stateful session. TCP use three way handshake mechanism and if HTTP is connection less how the server response to the client.
