Put two great actors together in a scene like this and it's just magic. Gene lays that threat out in such an ominous and understated way, and then Morgan doesn't say a word or make a sound but still communicates the realization that he's going to die a horrible death. He simply deflates as the last drop of hope leaves him. And then knowing that this scene will soon be topped by Clint's final showdown with Gene in the saloon. Damn!
