Thank you for this video, I'm hoping to get lucky that someone still looks at this video, maybe even the creator. You say something that sounds so simple yet has proved CRAZY difficult. "My ELM327 Address is 12:3.4:56:78:9c:72 ( You need to find yours)." How???? LOL, the ELM 327 doesn't broadcast and isn't discoverable. I paired it no problem with an IPhone app, but there is no way to see the MAC address. I ordered an Android Tablet to see if I can find it that way. How did anyone else that did this project find the MAC address of the ELM 327?

Hello, Sir, I hope you're doing good. I'm having a serious problem connecting my HC-05 with ELM 327. It worked perfectly fine and connections were established between both devices and i've got the values too but suddenly it stopped working and now it does not connect. I'd really appreciate if you give me any tip on how to do it.

has somebody this worked? i'm connected to the ELM by BT this seems oke HC05 is maste an blink pattern syas connected alszo the communiation light on the ELM is blinking. still get ATZ in serial monitor and No connection on the LCD

I have tried this and if you do exactly as his instructional describes it does not work. Now there’s a couple issues. There is something im missing in the code It will not load even after I downloaded the library’s I don’t understand it enough to troubleshoot So IDK.. Secondly they will not friggin pair! Now it could be cause he had an older hc-05 module and AT commands vary slightly IDK. But what I do know is I haven’t been able to get HC-05(V3 firmware) to pair with elm327. has anyone actually got them to pair? It’s extremely frustrating because this is something I’ve really wanted to do but it seems as though every example I’ve come across I’ve not been able to recreate their same results
