Moderat at Grand Palais - Passengers – @arteconcert

@ModeratOfficial est né de la rencontre entre Gernot Bronsert, Sebastian Szary (Modeselektor) et Sascha Ring (Apparat). Une fusion des noms et des styles qui permet au supergroupe de composer des morceaux où se rencontrent les rythmes puissants de Modeselektor et l'electro sensible d'Apparat. Parmi ces pépites, impossible de ne pas citer le superbe « A New Error », que beaucoup ont découvert grâce au film Laurence Anyways, de Xavier Dolan.

La musique pleine de contrastes de Moderat s’égrène à ce jour sur quatre albums : Moderat (2009), II (2013), III (2016) et MORE D4TA (2022). Cette discographie tiraillée entre abysses et stratosphère prend toute son ampleur en live : le trio donnant des performances relevées par d’impressionnantes scénographies faites de jeux de lumières et de projections.

L’ambiance si particulière des concerts de Moderat se retrouve entièrement dans leur performance pour Passengers : au cœur de la nuit parisienne, entre les échafaudages et les engins de chantier, Bronsert, Szary et Ring nous offrent un instant hors du temps. Un live à l’ambiance aussi poétique qu’apocalyptique qui témoigne d’un moment charnière de l’histoire du Grand Palais.
