Yamaha Raptor 700 or YFZ 450??? The last sport quads.

The Yamaha Raptor 700 and YFZ 450 are the last two sport quads being made. Both quads are amazing to ride. Each offers a unique experience and has its own strengths and weaknesses. Which is better for you?

Good point that neither of these quads should be someone's first. It bothers me when somebody asks "What should be my first quad?" and somebody replies "Get a 450!" or "Get a 700!" Baby steps my friends.

I’ve always enjoyed the yfz’s over the raptors. Raptor always just felt unsteady on trails and were a bit tippy while the yfz is always planted

Dud3, everyone under sells the 450. I wish I knew how insane this machine was b4 purchase. IT HAS ZERO CHILL. IT IS A RACE QUAD. THERE IS NO 1RST OR SECOND GEAR SIT DOWN TRAVEL. ITS RACE OR DONT RIDE. THE FASTER AND HARDER YOU RIDE IT, THE MORE "COMFORTABLE". THERE IS ZERO CHILL ON THE YFZ450, UNLESS YOU ARE ON ABSOLUTELY FLAT GROUND. I am 6ft and 180lb in shape, I can't ride the 450 longer than 10min at a shot. It literally beats the fuck out of me l. I have a love/hate relationship with my 2021 yfz450 R SE. 😂
