Climate change, pollution and habitat loss are threatening livelihoods, human well-being and our natural environment. How can leaders take action to safeguard people and planet?

That was the question former U.S. vice president Al Gore asked New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, broadcaster David Attenborough, Anand Mahindra, Chairman of India's Mahindra Group, and Zero Waste Academy's Akira Sakano during a discussion on environmentalism he hosted at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Jan. 22.

There was 1500 flights with private jet to WEF 2019 to discuss how much you and me can fly or not because of the climate. They did not go together in a taxi from airport to conference hotel, neither did they use train or bus. Most travelled by helicopter to the hotel from the airport. Do as i say, not what i do is their principal...

Didn't he say in his 2006 movie "An inconvenient truth" that in 10 years we would all be dead?
Here we are, 17 years later still going strong - and that's with the addition of all those personal jets that "In Crowd" used to fly into Davos.

Can't have infinite growth on a finite planet. Grow with healing our home. Can happen.

This is typical of elitists. They have no problems saddling you with rules, laws, and restrictions. But as we have seen they are exempt from them.

Most of the speakers and audience would have arrived at this venue in airplanes and cars, and the building holding this conference is propably getting most of its electricity power from coal power plants, thats how difficult it is to change the course of action that we have already choosen....

Some dogs bark, some dogs bite, and some dogs just want to play. Some people are just talking, some people are doing something, and some people just don't care.

If he was paid on his accuracy in forecasting, he would be broke. Same old story, give me all your money, the world is burning up. Funny how co2 is 30% heavier than air, yet it stays up in the upper atmosphere.

If every individual makes a positive change to his/her lifestyle and encourages others to do so we collectively begin to approach our goal. Once we have momentum then it's easier to speed things up. I have stopped driving a motor vehicle, stopped using single use plastics, cut down on energy usage, stopped buying "rubbish" I don't need. Most importantly, I have stopped criticising those who don't do anything or do very little; instead I encourage. We all have free choice - maybe I'll have to carry someone else who has not yet learned to "walk." Stop buying things our planet doesn't appreciate and manufacturers will stop trying to sell them if it's not good business. Thank you everyone, even for just being on this page :)

We can change the 85% percent FF produced energy level but not fast enough to supply more than 50% of what we are used to, we Westerners.

I hope people will investigate the facts for themselves rather than give such weight to politicians like Mr Gore and government agency heads as is on his panel. Scientific facts will show the truth. A true scientist would not make statements like Dyer consequences or crisis but would rather present the facts and let you derive your own conclusions. Gore makes many statements but presents nothing to substantiate his claims. Looking at it from both sides, keep your mind open until such time as you believe you have gathered all the facts.

Tell us how to have an energy program in Australia that doesn't ship any money or resources overseas
and can give Australian business and households energy bills that are low.

In weld county Colorado 2019:
1-Coldest May on record in 50 years!
2-Latest date of 90 degree temperatures since 1995
3-over 300% of the normal snowfall...
I thought global warming would be a little warmer than this!!!

Al Gore made a beautiful science fiction movie but did he ever heard about the laws of climate change of Milankovic and the marxistic political agenda of the United Nations .
