Your groundsperson did a nice job with how they managed the drops, and excellent demonstration of rigging out of a tricky lie.

Thank you Reg.
Watching a 2 man crew dismantle a tree of that size safely
is something I always will sit and watch. There are a whole
lot of good, solid techniques being shown here. I am striving
to learn everything I can and watching videos like this is a great
opportunity for exactly that.
Thanks for taking the time to shoot, edit and post up the video.
Cheers Reg and keep yourself safe! 😎👍❤️🌲

Negative rigging on the porta-wrap is something I haven't seen before! I'm always picking up tips from you, as I too, am a 2 man operation.

30 years ago I was a 'professional' for a while; 23 years old fit boy, and cutting down huge production forests in the south of France .. I will never forget that experience. I was enjoying this video so much, thank you, when at 11:05 you started Lacrimosa ... and I even wept a couple of happy little tears. ;-) Never would I trust myself this kind of a job, not a chance in hell, because as you said it yourself; it takes practice. Loved the video, thanks once again Mr. Coates, thank you.

Thats the most amazing video I've never seen an individual handle a tree that way to a point where it was like straight up an art form. Thats impressive

I've been studying with you for a good four years straight.
I couldn't pick nor would I want to pick any other mentor because of the demeanor that you choose in your everyday normality who you are.

I just would like to say thank you very much for the patience and the videos of an expert tree climber.

tell the family I said Merry Christmas if we don't talk beforehand much love and respect and thank you

That zipline technique is just what I've been looking for!
I've got a few dead trees between my garage and my neighbor's wooden fence.
This is the best solution I've seen yet!

Beautifully put together video - thank you. The calm & measured approach does it for me much more than the frantic hyperkinetic, which some seem to prefer. And the icing on the cake was the lacrimosa pairing: wonderful that so many others appreciated this too - I thought I might be the only one liking it. Perfect antidote to a world that today seemed full of hot-headed philistines. Happy Christmas, Reg.

The value in this video, like all of the videos you post, is immense. Incredibly grateful for your generosity in sharing your hard earned experience. An amazing career spanning over three decades, and if I remember correctly, three continents at least? Truly inspirational brother. I don't do tree work professionally, but I manage several woodlands and utilize tree work all the time in sensitive areas and the knowledge I've garnered from your videos has been absolutely priceless. Please reach out to me if you ever need anything. Thanks again mate,

I did not even know a tree could be cut in such ways. You are an artist my friend. Keep safe.
