To those wondering:

The reason why Hulk was taking so much pain and why it took too long, it's because of several factors taking place here.

1. The gauntlet they have in here is made of a titanium alloy. Thanos had his gauntlet made of Uru. That's why he was able to withhold the stones with no problem.

2. Thanos got each stone one at a time, letting his body adapt to the power of each respective stone. Hulk took all 6 stones at the same time so his body wasn't prepped for the power they had.

3. Hulk was trying to also bring Natasha back, but the Soul Stone was rejecting him trying to bring her because once she sacrificed herself, there's no going back. That's why at the end before Steve time travels he says 'I really tried to bring her back man'

I like how Tony was nervous with this whole thing not wanting to lose his daughter, telling thor hes in no condition, and reminding bruce what to do.

I love how Steve instead asked if Bruce was ok rather than taking off the glove. It harkens back to when he first when under the Super Soldier experiment and screamed out in pain but wanted to keep going through it.

You can really see Thor’s guilt here, clear as day.

He’s felt, ever since the battle of Wakanda and losing half of his people, that he hasn’t done any good and wants to make up for that by snapping his own fingers.

He’d probably accepted the fact that it could kill him but he was ready to do it as a final act to save what was lost.

A God who’s lost a lot, ready to lose his life instead.
