Haha, this brought back memories. My parents bought a house in the late 70's with baseboard radiators, essentially a copper pipe with aluminum fins, about 2" square and 1/8" apart, that ran around the exterior walls of the house. Hot water ran through the pipe and gave off heat. The radiators had covers over them, but these were flimsy and many, if not most, of the fins were pushed flat on the sides facing inwards. My mother and I spent days, using pairs of putty knives, straightening fins. Good times, but you couldn't pay me enough to do it for someone else!
