It´s quite an interesting story with Husaberg, when Husqvarna was sold to Italian motorcycle manufacturer Cagiva in 1987, some of the engineers stayed in Sweden and founded Husaberg Motor AB in 1988. But today both brands are merged and owned by Pierer Industrie AG (KTM).
