ERROR on your note: Perry Como recorded the song in New York City on August 31, 1954. The song was released by RCA Victor The US release peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard chart IN THAT SAME YEAR. It couldn't have peaked before Perry recorded it in Aug. 1954! Obviously, it peaked in Jan. 1955.

Great early number from Perry - at the start of a fabulous run of 50s pop singles with Mitchell Ayres and the Ray Charles Singers.

Some terrific clips there and mostly new to me, I think I might nick a little bit of them lol...Nice fun song from Mr. Laidback Como, I think I uploaded it on here about 7 years ago, on one of those old channels of mine that Y/Tube removed, , , , swines ! lol

It should have been great although I'm quite aware that the song came out at early 50s, decades later after these Chaplin videos
