It's the go to meal and the party pleaser. But who invented the heavenly combo of bread, cheese and tomatoes? This is the history of Pizza.

When I was in sixth grade, me and an old friend argued about the origin of pizza. I’m part Italian and I believe pizza came from Italy. While that old friend who was not Italian said it originally came from China.

The origin of current pizza are on early 18th century in Naples.

The "Margherita" pizza hasn't been invented on 1889, the "tomato, mozzarella and basil" pizza existed well before. It has just been given this name on 1889 to please the Savoy queen.

Pizza isn't Italian food, it is Neapolitan! It spread in Italy from Naples only after WWII.

Flat bread with olive oil isn't pizza it's just bread with oil so pizza is most definitely Italian and for all the people who heard pizza comes from China because of scallion pie a scallion pie is not pizza not even close except for maybe the shape pizza is definitely Italian

Several errores here- first it was a fenician food- 2ª Tomato was brought by portuguese and spanish priests in 16 century- 3ª the italian flag is recent. italy didnt exist in 18 century- so the colours of the flag are false-

That's a fake story pizza was not a Italian dish it is the copy of arabian manakish bread prepared in wood fire oven, it was brought to Italy by roman empire, Italy never had a wheat cultivation, Italians were eating only pigs and olive + wine that is their national food,
