Love how he said, "Thanks for watching." Even though it wasn't a video. Awesome

I know this is morbid, but I hope Michael's last words are: "and as always, thanks for watching"

VSauce is my favorite youtube science channel because of the way Michael approaches everything. No matter how obvious the title's answer may seem to me. I am guaranteed to learn something I've never known.

I used to think that making these videos would take like 50 takes at least to make it flow perfectly without a He just did that whole speech without a single verbal fumble. Legend.

1:16 Michael's desperate real life version of saying 'background music turns on'.

This live presentation is really a proof that he is naturally an amazing person, there were no video editing or effects involved here, but he still amazed us.

It's so awesome to see that Michael is as good of a public speaker as he is a presenter on a Youtube video. He can totally hold his own and act like we all know and love him without any cuts and edits. :)

I always wondered whether or not Michael had a script in his vsauce videos as he never says 'uhm', having said it just once in this video, I'm convinced he's a truly brilliant man capable of teaching us things without hesitating.
Great work!

Holy crap, how have I not discovered this wonderful man after being on the internet for 6 years? Judging from some of the comments which I thought made sense but weren't agreeable with his calculation on the "weight of a video", I still think it's useful information nonetheless. Even if he were incorrect, the fact that such a philosophical question facilitated a discussion is fantastic because everyone can benefit from it simultaneously. Before this video, I wouldn't even have known that you can actually calculate something that isn't physically present, if you get what I mean. That itself is already fascinating and I love how he draws audiences in by arousing their curiosity which is darn smart - The world needs more educators like him. The current focus in the education system in my opinion isn't so much focused on getting children to learn because we're curious individuals but because we want a stupid distinction on a test paper. I think it's sad like that because if we're constantly drilled into the head that, that's all learning is about - getting an A for an examination - then it already defeats the true purpose of learning. It also teaches kids that learning happens only when you're at school and that it isn't a lifelong process, which is not the case. I'm glad he's on YouTube to properly educate people, not that the education system is doing it 100% wrong, I just don't see eye to eye with their current focus.

Been following Vsauce near to it's inception and can say that, even though I've never met or spoken to anyone at Vsauce, I feel immense pride in Michael to be talking so intelligently and so passionately at none other than a TED lecture. Keep going dude. And as always, thanks for being awesome.

I feel so proud of him for reaching this far with turning on our curiosity about stuff that we, on a day to day basis, take from granted while teach and amaze us with his researches. You're amazing Michael, keep it up! :)
