No matter what the surface is(especially if it's "unpaintable")-scuffing it up w/some 120 grit still helps😀

Good tip! I used BIN a lot when helping at my kids school for stage props. BIN covers oil based paint but Ive used it on plastic and glass. Think white nail polish. But wear old clothes. I doesnt come out of anything!

You can rub it down with liquid sandpaper. Twice for really glossy stuff. Works great. The paint job lasted longer than the cabinets did.

I used the zinzer primer on Ikea cabinets. The bubbles didn't go away on their own. I had to lightly sand and applied a second coat and lightly sanded that coat before applying cabinet paint.

I have painted laminate furniture before. Sanded it, primed it with that primer (two coats), everything right. It’s lasted almost 6 years however the paint has scratched off in a few places.
