Joash decides to rebuild the Temple, God’s house of worship. He has a hole made in the top of a chest. He asks the priests to have the people who come to worship put their offerings in the chest. The offerings will be used to rebuild
the Temple. The people fill the chest. When the money is removed, they fill the chest again. The best workers were
hired, and they worked together to rebuild the Temple.
