Their sixth inning was a testament to their ability and precision, reminiscent of the '98 Yankees' knack for taking advantage of opportunity. Lowe's bloop double capitalized on a defensive error and Siri's two-run double finished off Alcantara's night. To close out the game strong, they hit long balls that recalled those from the '27 Yankees' notorious 'Murderers' Row.' Unsurprisingly, Miami found difficulty at bat and when RISP (2 for 13), only further emphasizing Tampa Bay's accuracy. These types of games can be critical to playoff success, but the Rays reminded onlookers why they are a force to be reckoned with in such scenarios.
