Thank you for the portfolio update

What’s your thoughts on the next imminent stock crash that everyone says that is coming?

1) “I ignore the headlines/news”
2) “I’m going to buy more shares”
3) “I’m ready for my whole portfolio to drop at least 50% but stay steady that will bounce back into opportunity”
4) cash out

Surely a plan of action has come across your mind on this?

Thanks

Great video as always. I've been investing with vanguard for a few months now and just investing into the global equity FTSE all world accumulation. Does it make sense that I keep paying into this same fund since it has thousands of the best stocks in? thanks!

The personal rate of return is a confusing one as it takes into account contributions? Not sure why they do that?
Well done with your investing journey Marta 😊

Good evening Marta,
Started watching your videos around a month ago and found what you say very interesting and totally get what you said in one of your videos about wasting money on things like tv extras etc. since, I have set up a vanguard account and invest all I can in the retirement fund and life strategy. One thing puzzles me and that is with isa you have a max of 20k a year. How on earth did you jump so quick from 90 to 163 in around 10 months. I’ve managed to check in 10k at end of month which don’t leave me much till end of year.

Hi Marta, Good update and impressive results. Well done :)
One question though which worries me a bit and that is when you mentioned, that the Vanguard graphs are not always correctly reflecting the reality of investments. Are they are not Investment company which should stand behind their numbers and graphs?
Second thing which worries me personally at the moment is my partner and myself we both have an ISA acc with Vanguard after watching your channel we both thought let's try it out and from same funds on ISA we both got completely different returns... Over period of the 4 months she got 5 percent and I only got 1 percent of return. It just doesn't make any sense logically... Would you be able to advise what am I missing here? My partner got a returns around 200, - pounds from 6k and I got slightly over 200, - pounds from 20k similar mostly same funds. I wonder what am I missing here.

hello Martha
thank you for being very transparent with your portfolio, thanks to you i have now opened my target retirement fund 2030
i am looking at opening stock & shares ISA when ISA with my Bank comes to an end in April
should i invest the £20, 000 or put in instalments, i have 15years left for retirement should i 100% equity or be more cautious & go 60/40 shares/bonds

Why did you buy the corporate bonds, and what changed? Ideally, you would be selling due to a carefully considered change in investment strategy/allocation, instead of them lagging behind.

Hi Marta. Great channel! So much knowledge and I like your approach to life. I am 44, self-employed living in the north of England with no private pension. I have never invested in stocks and shares. They never taught me anything about finances back in Poland. And it's only now you have opened my eyes to the possibilities! Thank you for that. But is it too late for me to bother with sipp? Shall I just set up an account and invest in ISA? What do you suggest?

What do you do for a living Marta and how much did you start your Vanguard Investing with, if you dont mind me asking ?

Hi Marta, good to see your progress. Do you have a strategy for how much you should put into ISA vs SIPP? It varies on age, tax band and personal goal and I've never given sufficient thought on this to optimise, other than as my hair has gone more grey my SIPP investment proportion is much more than ISA now. Thanks again for the videos, always get me thinking.

Hi. Love the channel. I've just started My portfolio in free trade. I can see you hold the all world (vwrl) and the s&p 500 at the same time. Thats what i did. So my question is i was told not to hold the all world and the s&p at the same time as my exposure is high. What do you think about it..?

Hey Marta- just wondered what age you opened this ISA and started to invest? Love your videos!

Hi Marta, how are you? Just wondering do you try and live below your means & not buy anything flashy? Do you own a car or just cycle and use public transport mostly? Running a car can be quite costly sometimes.

You obviously have a good amount built up in both your SIPP and ISA. I won't ask how much money have have sitting in cash but if you had say 100k in the bank, how much of that would you look to have invested in the S&P 500 for example? I currently have about 30% of my cash invested but feel like I should get a lot more invested!
