Boeing's outgoing CEO David Calhoun is set to testify before senators Tuesday afternoon for the first time since a panel blew out on one of the company's planes during a flight in January. The testimony comes as a new whistleblower report alleges faulty parts may have been used on Boeing planes. CBS News senior transportation correspondent Kris Van Cleave has more.

He should have resigned long ago but is being allowed to remain CEO
until the end of the year so he can we awarded with millions for his
stellar job performance in destroying a once great American company.

Is he going to testify about the murders?

This sounds similar to what happens at VA. It is a gross abuse of power that is allowed in government and big business because they are not checked and there are NO LAWS holding these people accountable. Put them in prison and see how their behavior changes.

This should be good. Everyone wanting answers but all Congress does is yell at people and don’t wait for answers.

I'd bet all my money that Congress won't ask them why the whistleblowers keep dying

Any mention of his outgoing financial package? They also had stock buy back. Welcome to how companies do business it is never about the customer it’s always about the stock price.

Their whole board should be on trial not just the CEO. The CEO is only always the well paid fall guy for the real grifters calling the shots behind the scenes.

Boeing: "Employees, come forward for the sake of safety... We want to know who to terminate next. Oh darn, our PR said we can't word our statement this way. We want to know how we can be a safe space for every body!"

wonder if this whistleblower will disappear too.

Until a corporation’s CEO is held criminally and civilly accountable for its actions, don’t hold your breath. I thought Citizens United would make an easy argument to hold a company officer liable.
