Speaker Bio

Haley is the Outreach Librarian for the Denton Public Library (DPL). She has been a part of the DPL for 5 years, working in multiple departments, and was promoted to Outreach in June 2021. In 2017, Haley received her BA in Psychology, with a minor in Communications. She received her MLIS in Library Science in 2020 from UNT. Haley is a stereotypical librarian who cannot go 5 minutes without talking about books, coffee, or her cats. Outreach is her professional dream and passion, and to her, the heart of the ideology behind libraries and building community.
