I Will / I'll Follow The Sun Beatles Cover

Since both of these great songs are so short, I decided to do them in one video..
'I'll Follow The Sun' was written in Paul's teen years. 'I Will' was on the White Album.. In juxtaposition, these songs show me how little he changed over the years, in reality. He was/is the premier pop tunesmith of all time.. Yet amazingly, he was no more important and no less important than the other Beatles to the success of the band. Therein lies the mystery of the band.. The whole wasn't greater than the sum of the parts, on paper (because the sum of the parts was overwhelming).. Yet, paradoxically, somehow it was.. Or.. was it George Martin?? Either way, it was a phenomenon that will never be duplicated. We should be grateful we lived to see it.

Love that part at the end and he points towards the sun. Ironically, I was reminiscing about friends, particularly music friends I have lost recently and hoping this talented fellow was still here. This is great! I think adding George Martin to the mix explains a lot about the “whole being greater than the sum of the parts.” They were each individually brilliant musicians. Under George M’s leadership, they could really shine as a group. Their harmonies and guitar work are exquisite.
