Red Lion Pump Installation HowTo - RJS-50-PREM 1/2 hp

A reference video on how to install and troubleshoot Red Lion 1/2 hp shallow well pump RJS-50-PREM.

* Change voltage switch from 230 to 115 (ignore the mismatched color cables, go by positioning)
* Make sure tank pressure is 28psi
* Prime the pump and release air through air valve
* Use teflon tape and supplied plugs for watertight fit
* Connect power cable correctly
* Call their tech support - they're knowledgeable and helpful people

How big is your tank and how long does it take the pump to fill it. It says it's spec at 23GPM. Is that accurate? Great video, thanks so much.

where do you get that style pressure gauge? back mount, . I have the one horse pump, same style, can only find gauges with stem out the bottom.

We bought the same motor and the plugs give you a size. What size is the hole on the motor going to the well that you used? The plug on mine says 1.2... what the heck it's a 1.2 in plumbing m

Mine stopped working so I opened the box and made the 2 metal parts snap back together and it worked
