Sen. Mitt Romney: 'What happened here today was an insurrection.'

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Congress would resume the Electoral College proceedings Wednesday night once the U.S. Capitol is cleared of pro-Donald Trump rioters and safe for use.

Pelosi said she made the decision Wednesday in consultation with the Pentagon, the Justice Department and Vice President Mike Pence, who would preside.

She noted the day would always be “part of history,” but now it would be “as such a shameful picture of our country was put out into the world.”

I’m a Brit and I wanted Obama to win in 2012, but when I think back to how some liberals (not just in America but in Britain too) smeared Romney as far right and a fascist then well...all kind of looks a bit silly now doesn’t it?
