GENERAL TIPS + THINGS TO KNOW
✔️ We brought $200 USD in cash (approx. $4,000 Pesos) and had leftover
✔️ Most restaurants communicate through WhatsApp for resys
✔️ Nicer restaurants and popular museum tours are usually booked out months in advance so be sure to plan ahead
✔️ Uber is available everywhere, and it's really cheap!
✔️ Tip isn’t expected but the "gentrified" cafes, restaurants and bars will usually ask if you want to add tip
✔️ English isn't too common. People will straight up speak Spanish to you and hope you understand. 😂
✔️ Drink from bottled water only! Avoid ice in public, or always ask if the ice was made from filtered water.
✔️ Heavy traffic on weekends in the main areas. Walking within Juarez, Roma Norte and La Condesa is faster than car.
✔️ Mexico is still very Covid conscious so I wore a mask everywhere, indoors and out

PLACES I'D GO NEXT TIME
📍Panderia Rosetta
📍Casa Luis Barragan
📍Tokyo Music Bar
📍Palacio de Bellas Artes (Cathedral)
📍Grutas Tolantongo
📍San Cristóbal Mexico (where chefs get tacos)
📍Casa Gilardi (reservation only)
📍Casa Orgánica (temporarily closed)

Freesia, I had to stop the video to make an ode to the fantastic idea of inserting name of restaurant, name of dish, quick shot of dish AND the 5 star review. Chefs kiss forever.
