One of her finest arrangements and I enjoy the way she puts multiple leads in her tracks. That's a big part of the replay value for me.

When I first heard it right after Mycelia I was confused and didn't really know what to make of it, but I think as I've gotten used to it being there it's grown on me, imo the vocal harmonies all go together very nicely. I like the glitchy, almost shutdown-like ending of Mycelia leading into this song about the death of her mother, I think that's very meaningful. I really love the third verse of the song too, with the "you did, did did did did well", I think that's very beautiful. Overall I agree it's not one of the strongest tracks of the album and I can understand disliking it, but for me it's very solid. (A choir only song does seem a bit out of place on this album though no matter how many times i listen to it. But for me thats only a minor nitpick and I do get why she would go with that since it does fit the "eulogy" style Bjork was going for)

I will say though, I'm a bit confused by what you mean about the beat ruining it, because I don't hear any beat on this song. I'm pretty sure it's vocals only. Maybe my audio is bad or something.
