You met "tet prop" at Saint Leu. A local legend. What happened with the shark crisis in Reunion is very sad. You're right to tell that it's not a paranoïa to think about sharks in Reunion. The risk is not just high, it's huge as no one can imagine. Even the greatest specialists used to sharks issues were puzzled by it.
When you said you did something stupid, you illustrate the temptation every local people can succomb living here. It's not stupid, it's human.
Torned between the love of the sea and the prohibition of it...

Super cool video. Very interesting subject, and it is sad what they are facing. Would have loved to know more about the guy with the prosthesis, and see what he is capable of. Must not be easy to windsurf there. So much respect 🤙🏽
