Interactive Pretend 911 Call, Fake Police Call, Prank Your Kid

Sometimes if your kid is not listening, a call to the authorities can help straighten them out! This video mimics a call to 911 and leaves a pause between the officer's responses to engage your kid. Warning, most kids will end up pretty freaked out so prepare to console them afterward.

CALL OUTLINE:
Officer: 911, what is your emergency?

PAUSE FOR ADULTS RESPONSE

Officer: OK, what is the child’s name and age?

PAUSE FOR ADULTS RESPONSE

Officer: OK, Are they still misbehaving?

PAUSE FOR ADULTS RESPONSE

Officer: Since they are still being naughty I will send a police officer to your home immediately. We have your address on file.
If they are still naughty when the police arrive we may arrest them and take them to the children’s prison for questioning.
Do you mind if I ask your child a couple questions?

PAUSE FOR ADULTS RESPONSE

Officer: Hi there, can you hear me ok?

PAUSE FOR KIDS RESPONSE

Officer: OK, great. Have you ever been to a children’s prison?

PAUSE FOR KIDS RESPONSE

Officer: OK, it’s not a fun place, I’ll tell you what, if you can promise to stop being naughty right now I can call the police and tell them not to go to your house. Can you do that?

PAUSE FOR KIDS RESPONSE

Officer: OK, I think it will be good if you apologize right now for misbehaving, will you do that?

PAUSE FOR KIDS RESPONSE

Officer: OK, good job, that was a good choice. I will call the police and tell them that you decided to start behaving. Are you going to be ok now?

PAUSE FOR KIDS RESPONSE

Officer: OK good. Thank you for calling 911, we are here to help, call us again if you any more issues with naughty kids, we will have the police standing by.

OK, Take care.

This is actually fun and smart. I played this on my 4 year old sister, lately she has been misbehaving and apparently swore at me, I told her how she knew that word and she found it out by my other sister. I pretended to call the police on her, and she thought she was really going to get arrested. Now shes behaving. She was a bit quiet after the call.. But then she went back too her normal self. But I think she will still remember this.

All of these other comments are legitimate. I suppose but my son keeps on threatening to call the cops on me because I'm being "mean" when I put him in time out so this actually Was a lifesaver today because he is smart Enough to dial 911if he gets his hands on the phone. How embarrassing would it be if he actually called for me putting him in time out. In other occasions I don't really agree with you using this on your child as a prank as I don't want to instill fear of the police and kids but when they are threatening to call the cops on you this is a really good resource.

My daughters weren't eating their dinner so I told them I'd call the police, joking initially. Made this story about the President sending kids who don't eat their food to jail. They weren't convinced and the 3 yr old said, "I want to see them", 😆😆 so I went for my phone, started looking up "fake polices calls for kids", listened to it on my ear piece to get an idea of what to say then played it for them. 6 yr old started tearing up, spoke to the officer, "mm-hmm" to everything and went back to her plate and ate as much as she could. 3 yr old finished hers, but wants the smoke. "Where are the police?"😆😆🤣
