👉 Exploring Cyclical Historical Patterns in Art 🎨

👀🖼️ The paintings engage with the notion of cyclical historical patterns, echoing the ideas of the German philosopher Georg Hegel, #georghegel who said, “The only thing that we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history.” This reflection on the repetitive nature of historical events is a central theme in my work. 🎨

🌟✨ This portrait painting is from my 2022 solo exhibition titled *Two Minutes Before Midnight*. In this series, I captured the recurring patterns and themes that history presents, highlighting the lessons we often fail to learn. Through a blend of abstraction and representation, each piece invites viewers to reflect on these cycles and their implications for the present and future. 🎨

🖌️🎨 By examining these #historical repetitions, my work seeks to provoke thought and discussion about our collective memory and its impact on contemporary society. The layered textures and subtle details in each #painting are #metaphors for the complexities of history, urging a closer look at how we can break free from these #patterns and #create #meaningful change. 🎨
