Gente, quando vcs estiverem nesses locais sempre pergunte à um seguidor do canal. Vcs poderiam até dar uns rolés melhores e terem experiências, e suas expectativas seriam bem melhores com certeza...✌️👍

Usually feijoada is not that much expensive, but it seems like this a kind of fancy restaurant with a feijoada “gourmet”, which is more elaborate. You’ll notice in Brazil that rice and beans are often present in meals and brazilians like to eat them together, like putting the beans on top of the rice.

You guys need to make friends on the places you’re going. That would definitely cut down on the miscommunication and you can find out where the best places to eat are.

A suggestion: eat the same meal in different regions of Brazil. There are variations of the same food depending on the region in which you are eating.

You missed the chance to eat feijoada at são paulo and rio guys... Salvador is best known for the seafood plates and lots os other stuff.
But the price you paid wasnt that absurd, because a good feijoada is an expensive dish, at sp you would pay 50 reais for two, at any common restaurant.

Since you guys are in Salvador- Ba, you should go to Morro de São Paulo Island .

I had similar problem in Seoul, I want to try a dish and the lady would let me because she said was for two person and she would not let me take out the left overs. So, in Brazil usually meals are for family, it is not common to have individual plates like here in the USA. Try make some safe friends and have a more in-depth experience than just guessing stuff and leaving with the wrong impressions. I have been enjoying your videos.

Usually(not everytime) we eat beans with "Farinha" or "Farofa". Farinha is made of mandioca roots, and Farofa it's basically Farinha mix with butter and sometimes we put bacon, salame, spices, egg, meat etc...

Hey guys! I’m from Salvador and I think that there are many things you should do before leaving! Please go have dinner at a restaurant at Bahia Marina Called Soho, Its actually a japanese restaurant but “brazilian japanese food”, especially here in Salvador is a lot different, try a dish called Sereia Maki, it is by the ocean, the floor is made of glass so you can see the rocks under your table :)
Another thing is, if you have the chance, go to praia do forte, is a smaller village at the litoral, about 30 minutes away from Salvador that has a unique project to protect marine life, you can visit them and see the turtles, sharks, fishes, and you have to taste our bolinho de bacalhau at SOUZA a restaurant there in Praia do Forte :)

Hi guys, I'm so glad to watch this video and see my beautiful city.
What to do in Salvador:
-Eating Acarajé (typical food).
- Visiting the Bay of All Saints by catamaran.
-Visiting Senhor do Bonfim church.
-Visiting the North Beaches, like Praia do Forte.
If you have more time, visiting Morro de São Paulo and Barra Grande - beautiful beaches next to Salvador.
Enjoy!!!

I highly recommend you to go to Praia do Forte. About 70km from Salvador. It's a wonderful place with great beaches.

Just subscribed last night and have been binge watching your Brazil videos. My husband and I are from Alagoas, not too far from Bahia, you will find the most beautiful beaches there, and the water temperature is perfect! We live in the US now, and we share our adventure here in our Youtube channel as well. We're like the brazilian version of you guys haha. Enjoy the northeast, and try Acaraje and cuzcus

If yall are looking for a cheap place to eat in Pelourinho, there's a buffet in the "Teatro Sesc-Senac". The food is actually pretty good and relatively cheap. Definetly recommend it.

A tasty meal on a terrace with a view of the harbor, followed by a sunset overlooking the beach is a good day.
