I don't see this one as "trying to beat the original", I see this as a modern reinterpretation of a classic.
And it's a very good one^^

The 3d looks like updated Jimmy Neutron animation, which is nice, but I’ll always love the 2d animation of the original. I’m 19 and yet this show was still a part of my childhood. If that doesn’t say how good this show is, then I don’t know what does

That was very, *VERY* well done. As a 3D animator I know how difficult and time consuming it must have been to do that. Modeling, texturing, and rigging all the characters, syncing everything to the music soundtrack, and of course the render times. This had a lot of high-quality textures so I know this took awhile to render even in sections.

I always appreciate hard work so you've got at least one guy here that is giving you a standing ovation!

I really struggle to understand why the studios that own the IP rights to content like this just don't admit defeat and hire the people that create such good content. The studio would make money, the creators would make money and the fans would be happy. It's a win-win-win.
