This song embodies for me how quickly intrusive and serious thoughts of self harm can just. Manifest. Even in moments that we wouldn't even admit to ourselves that there was a problem. Cheery song, seemingly cheerily life, then, Boom, "I just can't wait to die", "I cannot tell you why"

As someone with depression, the line “I just can’t wait to die, I know I should be fine and I cannot tell you why” just broke me that really hit hard and I by no means have a bad life, but depression episodes just happen and It really just hurt and made me really impressed b/c at this point it’s so real and feels so experienced, TLT is a true genius and thank you for being there for me when no one else was
