The leopard system seems to be more efficient, it kinda explodes in the air with multiple sparks and smoke comes from those sparks, creating a giant courting of smoke a lot taller than the tank

Those smoke launchers were originally designed to use “Willy-Pete” in a defensive manner against dismounted Infantry.
